Leaves of Absence

If you plan to return to Northeastern, please refer to the Leave of Absence guidelines.

Students who wish to withdraw from the university should complete the University Withdrawal Form via the Registrar Forms link in the Student Hub. They will be asked to provide their reason(s) for leaving Northeastern.

  • Please refer to the Academic Catalog to view program-specific deadlines regarding grades and financial responsibilities.
  • The Student Financial Services website dictates the refund policy if a student withdraws after the last day to drop without a W for a term.  Partial refunds after this date only apply when a student has dropped all of their classes for the term.
