Final Exam Conflict Policy

You are considered to have a final exam conflict if you have three final exams in one day or you have two final exams at the same time. Read the Full Policy if you need more information.

If you have a final exam conflict, you must submit a Final Exam Conflict Form to the Office of the Registrar. The form must be submitted no later than the “last day to file a Final Exam Conflict Form” indicated on the academic calendar. Applications for special exams will not be processed after this deadline.

Spring Semester 2018

  • February 1 (Thursday)—Last day to file a Final Exam Conflict Form for spring classes
  • April 20 (Friday)—First day of final exams for spring classes
  • April 27 (Friday)—Last day of final exams for spring classes

Final Exam Conflict Policy

Spring Semester 2018

  • February 20 (Tuesday)—First day of final exams for first-half spring classes
  • February 24 (Saturday)—Last day of final exams for first-half spring classes
  • April 23 (Monday)—First day of final exams for full-semester and second-half spring classes
  • April 28 (Saturday)—Last day of final exams for full-semester and second-half spring classes

Please note: Graduate exams take place on the last day of class in the assigned classroom unless otherwise indicated.

Graduate Engineering Students please note: your final exams will be scheduled dependent upon your instructor and/or the department.

Undergraduate and Graduate

CPS courses typically hold a final exam during the last regularly scheduled class meeting.
